The Kwahu Golden Boy, Kidi also won the ‘BEST AFROBEATS/AFROPOP SONG’ award with his hit single “Say Cheese”.
And finally the Lynx Entertainment’s star was crowned with the award for the ‘Highlife Song’ of the year” with another hit single from his stables; “Enjoyment” who’s music video he shot in Kwahu at the Rock City Hotel.
The native of Kwahu Abetifi was widely tipped to win the overall artist of the year because of hard work and massive radio hits which was visible through the year under review and his awards wins on the night but that was not to be as that particular award went to gospel musician Diana Antwi Hamilton. Like the gracious and class act that he is, this did not dampen the spirits as the Golden Boy has already sent a congratulatory message to the winner for her achievement on the night.
Kidi who was in Kwahu over the past week to share his new music with his people announced the release of his Golden Boy album which is already garnering massives streaming numbers on various music distribution digital platforms.
