Former President John Dramani Mahama has finally declared his intentions to contest the NDC flagbearership position to lead the party into the 2020 polls.
The NDC will hold it’s presidential primaries in December, 2018. Political pundits had always predicted the former President will almost certainly lead the NDC should he decide to contest but he faces stiff opposition from the 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon Alban Bagbin who has made several scathing allegations against the John Mahama administration which he was a part of.
The former President also comes against Mr Sylvester Mensah former Boss of NHIA, former board chairman of SSNIT Prof Joshua Alabi and 3 others.
