Ghana’s most vibrant female dancehall musician Ebony Reigns met her untimely death in a gory car crash last night 8th February, 2018 when travelling on the Kumasi – Sunyani road.
The young musician only 20 years old had gone to visit her mother who had returned from the UK at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region. The singer who lives with her father at Dansoman in Accra made the journey together with a military escort, a driver and a friend.
The accident that claimed her life, also claimed the lives of the military officer Francis Astu Vondee and her friend Franklina Nkansah.

The accident happened around 10pm in the night when they were returning from the journey. The driver of the vehicle is the only survivor. He is currently receiving treatment at the Sunyani Govt Hospital.
In a new twist to this unfortunate and sorrowful incident that has robbed Ghana of arguably the finest female musician to grace out music scene in a long while a video of a yet to be identified man of God (a pastor) making some startling revelations prior to the death of the musician has surfaced.
In the video the pastor categorically states that Ebony was going to die through a vehicular accident at her young age between January to July in 2018.
The pastor said Ebony will die just like Terry Bonchaka another vibrant young Ghanaian musician who passed away in 2004 in a vehicular accident on the Legon -Madina road after a performance at the University of Ghana.
