BREAKING: Ghana receives historic 600,000 doses of COVAX vaccines, a world 1st.

Wednesday 24th February, 2021 Ghana made history as the 1st country in the world to receive the COVAX COVID-19 vaccines at the Kotoka International Airport.

The vaccines which were developed by the Oxford Astrazeneca team is said to be the 1st batch of a 1.2 million consignment purchased by the Ghanaian government.

At the airport to receive the vaccines was the Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu and some foreign dignitaries and government officials and security capos.
