BREAKING: Achimota School Board to appeal Rastafarian ruling by High Court

The 2 Rastafarian boys; Tyrone Marghuy & Oheneba

The Board of Directors of Achimota School in a press statement has directed it’s lawyers to appeal the High Court ruling in the Achimota School versus the 2 Rastafarian Boys who were denied admission because of their locked hair.

The statement further says that the Achimota School Board disagrees with the verdict of the High Court and as such has directed their lawyers to file an appeal.

Two Rastafarian boys; Tyrone Marhguy and Oheneba Nkrabea who gained admission into the school were denied enrollment by the school’s headmistress unless they cut their hair which is a manifestation of their Rastafarian religious belief.
