Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah is raring to debut in the English Premier League which starts this weekend.
The Ghana international will be tasting top-flight football for the first time in his career.
“I’m ready now and to be honest, I really can’t wait for pre-season to be finished,” he said.
“Pre-season helps, obviously. The training helps and it gets us fit to try and win games and helps us link up with new players.
“But at the same time, you just want that to be finished so you can concentrate on the season.”
He added: “It does feel a bit surreal to be honest because you look up to these players having watched them on television, and now you happen to be playing with them.
“But it’s part of my career now and obviously they can make me a better player.”
